The ‘first Βreath’ («Πνοή») in ancient Greece was primarily connected with the life-giving process when the Spirit is ‘in-spired’ into a body and brings Life to it. ‘Re-spiration’ («ανα-πνοή») holds this connection between the spirit and life and reminds the body of this sacred process.
From ancient times shamans, yogis and mysts have been exploring continuously the power of breath and used it mainly for healing purposes and to connect with the divine. There are many archived documents and testimonials from people who have practiced breathing techniques and reached higher states of consciousness.
Today, science provides us with additional tools which support all this knowledge from the past and helps us go even further.
How it Works…
Using the knowledge of the past (from ancient civilizations, Shamanism and Pranayama) and the science of today, Breathing Awakening combines a variety of breathing practices with physical techniques, specialized brainwave music and creative visualization (see below the ‘Keys of Breathing Awakening').
The combination of the above stimulates and harmonizes the functions of the brain hemispheres at various levels of awareness, aligns the body and mind and leads to deep meditative states where we can explore a new field of possibilities. We discover the power of our breath and begin to gradually unfold the potential of what we truly are.
